I also took COMP1521, COMP1531, and ELEC1111 as elective courses. I don't know if doing this will make my workload explode next semester. Last semester, I only took COMP1511. Although it was easy most of the time, the final exam was a real headache. One mock exam's last question required me to write 300 lines of code in one go! I really don't want to touch that kind of thing again. If the workload for these two COMP courses is this heavy and the exams are this difficult, I'll really go crazy. And then there's ELEC1111. Although it doesn't seem difficult to learn, the Lab course is really hard. I tried taking it last semester, but dropped it after three weeks because the grading for Lab was too strict. There couldn't be even the slightest mistake, and the instructor didn't teach me anything, like how to use an oscilloscope or why there were bugs in certain parts unless I asked him. But if I asked every question, it would exceed his lab time, and I'd get a very low grade because I didn't finish within the allotted time. In short, I feel like it's a piece of garbage.
