While I SO wish the stairs weren't there, I'm still pretty pleased with how this turned out against the landscape and the clouds.

Vomiting when standing up in the morning

I've always been an evening nausea and vomiting type person, with occasional dry heaving in the morning that usually just means my neck is really tight and I need to go to Physio. Recently though, mornings have turned into a nightmare.

I work full time, mostly at the office, sometimes from home, with some travel, in emergency management. The past couple weeks as soon as I get upright for the day I immediately start gagging and dry heaving, sometimes throwing up. There is no undigested food, just stomach secretions and usually after a bit it calms down. End of last week though I logged onto a call from home and immediately started retching, thankfully a coworker I could laugh with, and had to go lie down and get things back under control, plus a bit of diarhea. Then fine for the day. This week I have been traveling and things have been surprisingly good. Until today when I got stuck on the hotel room bathroom floor because every time I was upright I was puking, pretty much instantly, but with almost no nausea. More like reflexive regurgitation. I ended up taking dissolvable Zofran, puking till I saw stars multiple times, and then it just passed? I went to the coffee shop, got a latte and a smoothie and drove two hours to my next stop with zero issues.

I am so lucky I have a supportive director, but wildfire season is starting and I am hoping to figure out a way to get this under control. I'm not pregnant, but this morning vomiting is starting to interfere with my work in a big way. Any ideas? Thoughts? Advice?
