My mom bought one of those timeshare pres opportunities where you get 3 or 4 days in Vegas after sitting a time share pres. My parents, allegedly, firmly declined the timeshare but were intrigued by a vacation package offer at the end and I believe purchased one. She said they bought it for around $1500 or something similar and it would cover a week vacation at one of numerous resorts around the country. Initially this sounded really great to me, but I didn’t have a ton of details. She sent me a picture of one of the resorts in the brochure and I saw Hilton Grand Vacation mentioned but no info of what they specifically purchased. So here I am doing my research and due diligence.

They swore (over text) that this was a one time deal/ package and would not be an annual membership. Anyone know what they might have purchased? Everything I see about HGV online references an annual membership that you buy into like any other timeshare. I need to know if I need to force them to cancel within the free cancellation window.
