I have a little blue rug juniper I picked up from a garden center as an experiment to see if I could bonsai it since it had a cool-looking trunk. All was going well until my neighbor's dog fully knocked him off the stoop (nearly a two-foot fall), pretty much completely uprooting him only a week after he was initially repotted out of the nurserey pot.

He's in new soil and in a more protected area.

Other than the usual (water, no fertilizer, protected, bright indirect sun, etc), is there anything else I can/should do to help prevent shock?

Right before his tumble.
