Lost a limb, ryb dirt on it?
One of the 4 limbs broke off of my (hackberry? Texas cedar elm? Sugarberry?) tree during a storm last night at the base below ground level. The other 3 are intact. Should I cover the recess with dirt? Plan the funeral?
I have no idea what kind of tree this is. It sprouted by my pool and grew insanely fast even after my wife cut it back thinking it was a weed like 3x. Now its over 20ft -in 4yrs!!
Don't want to lose it so im appealing to the expertise of this group.
Please advise!!
