▲ 3 r/KneeInjuries
So this started as a running injury that got very agitated over time. No one could figure it out and MRI came back clean. Had arthroscopy in October. Surgeon had to remove scar tissue, lengthen IT band, lateral retinaculum release, and medial meniscus repair. The knee seemed to be progressing well after surgery until a few weeks ago… now I have pain in lateral knee with any form of knee extension (almost constant). This past week I’ve started experiencing some hip pain to go along with it - a snapping sensation over the ischial tuberosity with walking (especially stairs) and extreme tightness (almost spasm) in my lateral hip. Physio said symptoms don’t make sense. Thoughts?
