Hello,

I am a DM running CoS for the first time for my players. They’ve been really focused on finding magic items for the past couple of sessions and on the last one my PC’s fought and killed Arrigal. After doing so the looted his body and got his knife, we then ended the session.

My question is. Due to the poisonous properties of the Assassins’ knife in the stat block, should I give them something like the the Dagger of Venom in the DMG (pg. 161) My party is at level 6 and the item is of ‘rare’ status.
