Any mammo techs on here that can share how their department handles quality control?

Do you have one tech that does the quality control testing every week and then sends the information to someone else that handles the charting, inspection, and accreditations?

If so, what hours does that tech work to complete the qc testing?

Do you have one tech that handles it all? Everything from qc testing, documentation, EQUIP, FDA inspections, ACR accreditations, and so on…

If so, how much time “office time” do they get to keep up with all of it? Or are they expected to handle everything in between patients?

Are they offered any incentives for taking on the extra responsibilities?
