Any tips on creating a garden inspired cascading bouquet?
Hello! I'm a beginner when it comes to florals with some experience in processing and arranging for fun. I have my own newlyweds photoshoot next week and would like to make my own cascading bouquet. The florists I've reached out to didn't respond and I'm running out of time so I decided to give it a try myself.
There is a public florist wholesale company near me that I can get my flowers from and I have blooming jasmine on my fence. I plan on getting and processing flowers Thursday, letting them bloom Friday, and arranging Saturday for the photoshoot Sunday morning. If it's better to get them Wednesday or Friday, please let me know.
I've attached a few inspiration photos from Pinterest (apologies for not knowing the original florist). I'd like a garden inspired cascading bouquet with some movement. Our colors are yellow and purple, and from the photos it seems like I'm leaning towards more greenery with pops of flowers. I'm 5ft and will wear a cream/blush off the shoulder sweetheart ball gown.
So far, I'm thinking of star jasmine vines and sweet peas. Do you all have any advice on processing, flower/greenery types, and arranging? Thank you so much!!
