Hey everyone,

I recently got a hiring manager round scheduled at Apple for a Software Engineer, Observability role on the Apple Services Engineering team. I’m excited but also want to make sure I’m as prepared as possible.

A little context , I was recently affected by the Oracle layoffs so this opportunity means a lot to me right now. I feel reasonably aligned with the role, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has interviewed for a similar role at Apple.

Specifically looking for:

∙	What does the hiring manager round look like -mostly conversational or technical?

∙	What technical topics came up?

∙	Any system design questions specific to observability?

∙	General tips for Apple interviews at this level?

Any help would mean a lot. Happy to share my own experience once I’m through the process !
