Had a flight today at Chicago around 8pm. Checked in my bags and everything for them to send me an email saying it’s cancelled after delaying it til 9:46. Luckily was able to get a full refund And got a flight tmw for American Airlines.
Do not book spirit right now!!!
Edit post: Spirit is comical. Before getting my refund the ticket associate had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to rebook for tmw or get a $500 credit I could use in the next 5 years lol. They think we’re all fools.
Also I was a Spirit Card holder for the past ten years and I have booked endless flights for free. I flew to La for $5, Phoenix for $10. I had a flight last month where I flew to New Orleans for free. The credit card was awesome I will miss it. It also allowed me up to two free checked bags per flight. If you’re a budget traveler like me, I’ve flown all around the country for less than what you pay for a burrito at chipotle.
For everyone hating on Spirit and saying it sucks, my flight has never been changed or cancelled prior to this. People are quick to say they suck when they’re sitting at home on their couch and their preferred place they travel is their local McDonald’s and Walmart.
