I've just noticed this myself right about now and if anyone else did so, feel free to comment on this rugged style of hairdo, be free to comment down below and share your thoughts on Freleng's design.

Oh, sufferin' succotash! I only have one aim in life that is very plain! I've gotten my tail all twisted up this time!

One of the most persistent Looney Tunes questions is how Silvester doesn't have a white tip on his tail for all of his appearances.

McKimson's redesigned him for the 1950s and got rid of the "Plump Sylvester" he originally had while Jones' version lacked the white tip in a few cartoons during the late 1940s until much later with Claws for Alarm (1954) and Jumpin Jupiter (1955) finally integrating it albeit with a more bushier lemotif for comedic effect.

I personally favor Jones and Freleng's version of Sylvester regardless of including the white tip on his tail or not but you can share your own opinions on what version you like in the comment section below.
