I'm new to twitch so please bear with me - most streamers playing 'Gartic Phone' (online multiplayer game like a mix of pictionary/skribbl.io) throw a link to let viewers join and play, and sometimes I'll go search for a stream to join and it seems like most streamers are piss poor 'hosts' ?

Streamers that make you connect your login to discord or twitch on the Gartic Phone website and 'link accounts' in order to join, or make you join their discord to get the link to the server, get really angry at people for their drawings/not being 'artistic' enough or worst case - streaming but telling viewers they're not allowed to join?

I've seen good Gartic hosts that play along with shitty drawings, pin the link, and overall act like a good 'gameshow' host slowly climb up to >150+ viewers because they're entertaining and inclusive, and then I hop on a new streamer with 20 people who says "I'm not posting the link I only want to play with my friends" and the viewer count goes down to 5 because all of those people were hoping to join the game.

I'm guessing this is a symptom of everybody thinking they can stream but not willing to put in any work to actually entertain the viewers? Anybody feel the same way?
