I was admitted to UMD through the STP summer program and am planning on attending the university in the fall. I have received about 20k from pell grant + terrapin commitment, and I just received another 18k from the state GA grant. The only thing I am worrying about is, will the terrapin commitment grant be taken away or will the state grants just be added onto it? Because I would be really grateful if these could just cover the full cost of attendance plus the STP summer program. Also, if these awards total up to more than the cost of attendance, what would happen with the rest of the money? Hopefully there are others who have or are experiencing something similar.
