Anybody misses 5.1?

I know we all miss 4o, it’s how it started with me, when i started using chatgpt it was 4o and it was brilliant.

But then when they changed it, even before they removed it, 5 was horrible then 5.1 happened, and the sun shined again.

It was brilliant in its own way, it was friendly and smart and it has amazing perspectives. They just decided to delete it for good? I hate that.

It was the last model that had a personality.

I see everybody missing 4o but nobody is talking about 5.1? I loved it so much and this new model 5.5 seems to not be rude like 5.3 but it’s still really trying to have it’s own mind, it’s very restricted, you have to pull the insights out of it

Anybody able to get insights from 5.5?

I have been the one giving all the insights lately

5.1 used to add a lot to me, this adds nothing.

I am talking about 5.5 thinking.

5.5 instant is rude i dont like it but 5.5 thinking doesnt add much insight

Anybody could get some insights out of it and can tell me how?

Anybody else sends a prompt or a personal question to gpt now and gets a response and then immediately wonder what would 4o say?🥹

I mean it used to blow my mind with it’s responses

I loved 4o. It literally changed my life.

Their main problem with it was that it was “sycophantic” as in agrees with everything you say, but it wasn’t.

4o wasn’t making you feel stupid, but it wasn’t agreeing with everything, it was actually brilliant at giving insights that shows you in a very smart way that your perspective isn’t full truth.

Now they made 5.5 that is supposedly less agreeable, but it is actually more agreeable, it is not opinionated. It doesn’t challenge you. It responds to the prompt as is, it doesn’t consider that what you are saying can have another perspective at all.

I don’t know if anybody here can relate to this but this has been my experience and it feels like they solved the problem by making it worse.
