Scared of my bed, dread nights

Hey, this is actually my second post as I’ve just discovered this subreddit! But I have soo many questions. I’ve had longstanding insomnia so bad I’d cry all night and I’ve been having nights of 0 sleep, not even a few minutes. I get SO ill after. I’ve lost 2.5kg in 5 days, I’ve thrown up, I get tachycardic etc. I never used to get physically ill from it but I wonder, is anyone else terrified of their bed? Or nights?

Especially when I was younger I would dread the nights, it felt like an exam approaching. It got to the point where I actually had to sleep on the floor in my room because I was convinced I could never sleep in my bed again. It almost feels like the enemy at times

Physical symptoms of insomnia?

Hi! I made another post with more details but also curious what physical symptoms anyone gets from insomnia. I know the basic headache and tiredness of course! But I find after an actual all nighter (0 sleep not even 30mins) I feel so ill. Tachycardic, warm or shivery, DAYS of nausea ( have thrown up water upon getting up before). I’ve had 2 days no sleep over the last 4 days and I’ve lost 2.5 kg. The physical symptoms haunt me more than the sleep sometimes.

Suddenly getting actually ZERO minutes of sleep?? Help pleaseeee

Hi! I’m 23F and used to struggle with insomnia so bad in covid the gp gave me zopiclone as a 16 year old, (didn’t help) and in the end I found a rhythm of having to take wine and melatonin together and wean myself off over years ( stupid, do not do it! But we’ve all been desperate). Lately I’ve had 2 nights where I’ve had zero minutes of sleep. Usually I’d have slept at least 30 mins usually at least a couple hours a night but I haven’t had insomnia for years and I’ve been so awake all night the night feels LONG and I keep needing to get up/ my thoughts just don’t settle in the way they usually do. It’s not even stressful things. I feel beyond tired and it makes me throw up in the morning and feel tachycardic and I can’t eat well for days after. Not sure if there’s any advice? I can’t get on the wine again as my stomach is already damaged from being sick and I’ve had tears in my throat before that can sporadically bleed. Any advice? I was so surprised how much worse it is with 0 minutes of sleep from day 30 mins to a few hours.

Hi, (25F) I’m quite the anxious individual but usually it’s alright. But the last couple of weeks I’ve been so anxious, and In a weekly meeting where we all gather in a small space (I’ve been to this for months and been fine) I started to feel super aware of my surroundings and feeling dizzy. Usually I can distract myself but my heart was pounding and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. I had to leave and say I was going to use the toilet, and my hands were shaking. I tried the counting or 5 things you can see etc but I couldn’t even think. The next week I stood by the door and was barely able to stay upright. I’m really anxious about the anxiety! Does anyone have advice to curb a panic attack? I’ve never had social anxiety before and it’s come out of nowhere!
