I made a mistake buying a brand new car 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe and I sold it but was under water $2000. But I let it go. The payments were insufferable and maintenance comes up so fast. In 10 months of ownership i put 30k on th car but spend close to $1100 on maintenance.
So now I am looking for something small, mainly looking at 2018 civics or somewhere around there. They go for 18k or so. Im located in Alberta Canada.
Is it a good decision to get those. They have close to 100k or 120k ball park on the odometer. My dad has one it’s a 2015 civic and running strong with 340k on it.
Let me know what you guys think.
