So for context I’ve been wanting to get into trolling for saugeye at a small lake that’s pretty close to me, it’s about 100 acres and has a max depth of 15-19 ft depending on the water level, it’s fishing forecast rating for 2026 was excellent and it is rated to be one of the best in Kansas for saugeye fishing. My question is what is the best way to go about trolling in at this lake to have the highest chance of success, I’m thinking of getting some deep diving crank baits, setting up walleye rigs with worms or jig heads with minnows and trolling at around 1.5 mph or slower depending on the weather, I’m completely unfamiliar with trolling but have a kayak that has a trolling motor on it and was just wondering what advice would you guys be willing to give and where should i fish what should i look for and what type i rigs should i use
