What’s the likelihood I get this job?

Hey guys, so some background information.

I just graduated, fun fact. But I don’t actually have a job lined up. Instead I secured a post grad internship. My reason for this is that I never was able to get one while I was in school, not for a lack of trying. So in my senior year I began to apply to both jobs and internships. I have no industry experience so I got desperate.

Luckily enough I got a paid internship as a software engineer. The pay was way more that I expected. The hiring manager was also made fully aware that I was a senior and graduating this may.

With the job economy right now I really hope this internship becomes a full time position. One of the engineers who interviewed me in my second interview actually used to be an intern themself and when I was hired the manager said they really liked me.

With the context out of the way I have a few questions.

  1. I know a lot can depend on this (headcount, current needs, performance, etc.) but what do you think the likelihood of me getting a full time return offer is?

  2. What can I do to help ensure I stand out and do well?

  3. Should I just focus on learning and asking questions? Or what can I do to ensure I’m meeting expectations?

I REALLYYYYY don’t want to apply for jobs. It was hell 2 years ago and it’s only gotten worse.

I am confident in my speaking skills however and my resume, not my leetcoding though lol. So I really hope this job works out so I can have something stable and able get my foot into the industry.

I appreciate any responses. Thank you!
