I got invited for an interview for a role at ASML, but the scheduling was done through a WhatsApp bot that introduced itself like “Hi, I’m Rex, a virtual scheduling assistant.” It asked me to pick an interview time, but all the times were shown in IST (India Standard Time).

I booked 9:00 AM IST without thinking, and only afterwards realized that this is actually 4:30 AM in my time zone, which seems strange.

The reason I’m unsure is because the interview is tomorrow, and now I’m wondering if this is real or some kind of scam. The Teams meeting link looks legitimate, and the email address provided for help ends in asml.com, which makes it seem real.

Just wondering if a Dutch interviewer will actually be up for that time to do an interview?
