Okay, guys, I've been working at Target for 8 months, and I just finally put in my TWO WEEKS to work in a better environment!! So this incident occurred tonight, I was handling registers. The only register that wasn’t closed was my coworker's. Since I wasn’t by the bags, I told him to close them. He ended up leaving and not even worrying about it, so I just did it. Because I thought I was going to leave, I had my purse wrapped around me; it's very dainty and small, and it barely holds anything. I love it because it’s aesthetic, not the point!! But my ETL she turns around & says it's weird. I said what?... she said, 'You having your purse? I wouldn’t do that,' she kept making certain comments like, 'Do you do this all the time?' Which again I closed the register multiple times. I never have my purse on me; it was simply because I had no choice. and she keeps going on saying, “I wouldn’t have done that.”
Which I DIDN'T wanna do, she was acting like she didn’t wanna close registers, so I had to. So when I was done, I put my purse, which has a lock, up to the camera and said, "Here you go, corporate." I got nothing to fucking steal”. Would I be wrong for not coming in my whole week because she made me feel uncomfortable? I HAD MY PURSE BECAUSE I WAS SUPPOSED TO LEAVE; my shift had ended. I told him to close it since he was closer and I was grabbing my stuff. He just walked away. So she had told me to do it.
