Hi all! I gave gmat twice (25 days apart) and had the same result - 615 (V84, Q78, DI79) vs 615 (V84, Q79, DI78)
My target is 665 and I NEED this score before august 2026 ANYHOW (like my life depends on it)
Because I was struggling in quant (despite decent basics) and good at Verbal (I believe my true potential is definitely a V86 since my CR is very strong), I thought of taking the GRE diagnostic with 0 prep and to my surprise I scored a 310 (Q 163 and V 147). My RCs are strong but this whole new vocabulary thing is where I might struggle and also getting used to selecting multiple options is another thing. In the diagnostic, out of habit I selected only one answer per question so 3-4 naturally went wrong because of that.
I am a bit attached to GMAT because I have spent a lot of time and effort on it and I have seen improvement esp in practice and mocks but I am unable to translate it on the main day due to time pressure or silly mistakes. Like I said, I NEED a score by August so I can apply for MBA this fall. What would you do if you were in my place?
