I was out sick two days this week. My coworker subbed for me and apparently said this according to one of my 7th graders. I am in the hiring process for a county job and already submitted my resignation. I was furious when I heard this though. That's a terrible thing to tell students.

Its not set in stone yet but they have wrapped up my investigation which took about 2 months and given me a start date. I just need to sign papers. The position is for Corrections Technician at county sheriff's office. I met with them at a career booth a couple of summers ago and said I would love to work with them. I can't wait. I would be starting a week before school ends so I don't feel too bad. Principal was supportive.
