Hey everyone im currently in upstate NY and have to take someone to small claims court. I had a computer that wasnt working properly, it would shut off after a couple of minutes and I took it to best buy and their geek squad couldn't figure it out.
I had someone who I thought was a buddy of mine tell me he would take a look at it. After a few months of radio silence I started to ask for it back. He told me he would bring it to me on x day multiple times so far and never has. This has lead me to think he doesn't even have my computer anymore.
He's had my computer for almost a year now. At this point in time he is ignoring Facebook messages and he deletes things I post on his Facebook wall demanding my computer back. I just want to know where to go from here. Should I call the police even though it's a civil manner?
