Thought it might be helpful for anyone out there who’s been through a similar experience with a CP. It took me some time to ovulate again, CD 25-26, but our bodies are amazing, resilient, and able to heal and move forward ✨I typically ovulated CD 13-15.

With my CP I only had faint and fading lines. This time I have solid and darkening ones! 🥹 I chose not to test after confirmed ovulation because I honestly didn’t think I was going to get pregnant and because it stressed me out. We still tried of course. But mostly I really just wanted to know my system was ok. I got my first positive at 11 DPO since that is when I chose to test!!

Things I did different that I believe helped (TTC since November 2025)

🤍Being off oral birth control for at least 4-5 months. I think my body needed time to fully “wake up” again. I had been on Yaz for 10 years. Even with perfect timing I never saw a positive until my first CP in March, 5 months after stopping the pill. I wish someone told me sooner. I thought the second I stopped the pill I was going to get knocked up lol.

🤍Optimizing implantation environment. My TSH was 2.7, which is considered normal, but some studies suggest that lowering TSH below 2.5 helps with implantation. My OBGYN is the one who recommended this and started me on levothyroxine in March this year.

🤍 Luteal phase tracking. I wasn’t sure if my short luteal phase 9-11 days was because my body was adjusting after coming off BC or possible luteal phase defect. After my first CP I had to advocate for myself to push for progesterone supplements even though my OBGYN said I did not need it. This cycle I took Prometrium 200mg daily and got my first BFP!!! Even if you don’t need it, I believe having extra vaginal progesterone does not hurt, it can only help!

🤍 HSG. I was getting impatient and went to see a fertility specialist for a workup. They were having a promo and I didn’t need a referral so I decided to get all the testing done. Apparently, an HSG can improve fertility for the next few months since it cleans out your tubes, flushing out any debris. I got my first ever faint positive the cycle right after the procedure, which was the CP.

🤍 Stopped monitoring tools. I shoved my Oura ring in a drawer since I would obsess over my temps and stress levels that were constantly through the roof. I only allowed myself to test on inito until confirmed ovulation. This allowed me to breathe a little bit and relax somewhat. I still obsessed over everything, but at least I didn’t have any data points fueling the fire lol.

🤍 Prenatals/supplements - I took Perelel conception support and ubiquinol 200mg daily for egg quality. I had been taking CoQ10 (ubiquinone) for a while but upon further research it’s very poorly absorbed, so do yourself a favor and save yourself time by switching over to the reduced active form, ubiquinol.

**Double check the ingredients on the label, I mistook ubiquinone for ubiquinol, they are different!**

🤍 Fertility audiobooks - this really helped with my anxiety. I found that I couldn’t stop thinking about pregnancy, worry and self doubt consumed my mind 24/7. The audiobooks forced my brain and anxious thoughts to quiet down while still leaning into my desire to feed into the topic. I highly recommend The Trying Game by Amy Klein. It not only helped restore my faith in myself, but it helped me feel more in control of my fertility journey! Knowledge is power ladies ✨

I hope this helps someone out there. I’m only 15 DPO today and the future still feels uncertain. But today I am PREGGERS ya’ll, the rest is up to God and the universe. Praying for all my TTC sisters out there, your time will come. 🫶🏼
