Some updates on dentistry in portugal

Good afternoon. I can post this elsewhere if this is not an appropriate place for it.

I am an american dental student looking at going abroad, so I thought this looked interesting. Before anyone asks, yes I am aware of the pay cut. Anyone in that region or in the know about the changes from this? Is Portugal going to become a better place for public dentists to work and patients to get basic care soon?

Problem with loupes

Hey everyone, hope you are doing well.

So before I bought any branded stuff, I got the Amazon loupes which have a really short working distance, but gave me really good clarity. I eventually reached out to buy the lumadent ergo TTLs but they were just unusable. I thought it was an issue with pupil distance, so I bought flip up ergos, which were at least usable, but after giving them a go and trying on the old Amazon loupes recently, there's still something that's clearly off.

One of the faculty is worried I might have an astigmatism, but if that were the case, should t I have issues with the Amazon loupes too? Anyway, I'm wondering if the issue will resolve if I just go to low declination angle prismatic, or just look for another brand altogether. Does anyone have any advice?

Hey, hope you are all doing well.

Im just curious for people who have experience in both countries, but what major differences exist between Denmark and the Netherlands? In a few years in hoping to move to one or the other and im choosing a language to focus on. Is the biking culture pretty ubiquitous in both places? And how easy is it to get good vegan or vegetarian food in both countries? I'm particularly keen on making sure I get high quality proteins too as I like to workout. What about also for sustainability? Is there weather noticeably worse in Denmark than it is in the Netherlands? For context I'm a dental student in the United States, I know I have a lot to work on before I can get anywhere near a patient in either of these countries.
