Leaves turning yellow on my creeping ficus
I got this plant a couple weeks ago. From the start I noticed that a couple of the branches, and the tips of the lo g ones were completely dried out, and in a couple of days all the small leaves dried put and fell. I pruned the dry branches and tried watering much more regularly and it seemed to improve. The rest of the leaves became perkier and greener, but in several weeks I haven’t seen any new growth, even though it has several small branches still alive. The past week leaves started Turing yellow at random, but much more in one of the long branches. Watering makes no difference. Does this look like it’s still underwatering stress? Or do you think it’s something else? The first yellowing leaves turn yellow with no much change in texture, but the drying out, and these ones in the pictures are crispy at the edges. I’m worried I may have caused root rot by increasing watering, and I only have somewhat dense soil mix available if repotting is urgent, if I need a different soil mix I will have to wait to the weekend.
For light, I have it hanging in a window that looks to the neighbor’s house, so best sunlight in my house but not direct
