I'm currently midway through an RMA for my 7900xt that has failed after 2.5 years. I'm quite sad about this as it is a beast of a GPU and I had no plans to upgrade. Thankfully, the retailer will be collecting for testing and has indicated that they will provide a replacement from their stock if it is confirmed to be broken.

I'm guessing that they will possibly no longer have any 7900xt in stock, unless they have something refurbished or repaired. If they don't, then I'm just considering what I will accept as a replacement in the event that it is confirmed to be broken. The 9060xt is clearly mid range so out of the question, but would you say that the RX 9070 is a fair replacement or should I be pushing for RX 9070 xt?
