Blinds: Can this be Fixed?
On of the ladder strings is not connected at the top, causing the blinds to sag a bit. I'm also concerned about the added strain every time we tilt the blinds.
Did the cradle for the drum just come out or did the string snap? They're 12 foot wide mini blinds. Im trying to figure out if I need to reconnect the string, restring, or just toss the whole thing out and get it replaced with 6 foot wide blinds to replace them. Looks like Home Depot has them for about $65 each.
The first image shows the blinds, including where the ladder string at the top is not connected. The second image is zoomed in on the disconnected string. The third image is of another ladder string that is connected.
