The yuji fuga furnace debate reminded me that fujimoto had another protagonist that had flames as part of his... identity? Well either way thank God yuji ain't facing against this guy

The misspelling was intentional for brainrot. Due to how ridiculous agnis healing ability is and the properties the flames he carries has... I think denji is cooked if he gets tapped once.

Something Tatsu has done a lot in Dandadan is subverting tropes, whether it's a traitorous ally with Vamola, Jiji being a great dude in the Mongolian worm/evil eye arc, or Okarun being his first real male friend.

So I have an odd theory: so far, we've only seen the effects of the loss of powers with Momo and Zuma. Zuma seems unaffected by his little brother's being gone. However, Momo's lost her memories possibly due to either:

A. The kozaku knives affect people hard if asleep differently (which I don't trust)

Or

B. The powers relate to the fairy tales in which the characters have their powers linked.

Unji and his bro are Hansel and Gretel, meaning the loss would be his own brother. Not much was lost there, but still depressing. Momo is Alice in Wonderland because of the weird nature of Dandadan's story, her being the MC (alongside the moment when Alice became tiny, as in AIW). And how did AIW end? It was all a dream; a similar bullshit would be like amnesia. So my main theory would be that, for Kouki, she's most likely in a coma, with the pygmies helping her like Snow White (haha, needs a kiss to wake up, idk). As for Rin, she'd lose her voice because of her relationship as the little Mermaid. Red Baron gets killed in an instant because Red Riding Hood got eaten by surprise by someone she thought she could trust lol. So, with all that said and done, what would happen to Okarun if his power linked with the ogre baton disappeared? Would he become a real boy/man? Would he stop lying and be brutally honest? That's where I'm stumped, and I'm questioning what Tatsu's cooking.

My 2 cents that dont make a lot of sense would be that: Okarun acts like his depressed self from his yokai form and more like the dream version of ken takakura she wanted in chapter 1, alongside his full name.

the twist of the amnesia arc would be we do get the pair... but not in the way we want because of st Germain wanting the damn ultimate yokai.

its mostlyy theorizing so if you disagree thats cool im here and there with my own theory

Maybe its me reading a lot of romances but you kinda become desensitized with the trope and ride the wave. I know for a fact they ll get back together because guess what genre we re also in: shonen.
