I found this exercise in my textbook because I wanted to become good at solving limits. I tried to find a way to understand this problem specifically without success at the end (I think the numbers below the a and x are like indexes or something). Not only that, but I tried reviewing the examples, I couldn't find this variation anywhere and either on the web, however. Can someone please help me?
