One of my players requested a campain set in MLP plane (unofficial Planeshift: Equestria is SOOO useful here with specific rules for equine characters). I don't consider myself a brony of any sorts, I always kept a neutral alignment towards the show, so such idea seemed very exciting and fun.

Unfortunately, the more I think about it, getting this setting to work with common DnD-style brutality etc. isn't as easy as I thought it might be. I do have some ideas on my own including drifting apart from official MLP timeline, but I would like to hear some advice from more experienced DMs.

Got any thoughts?
