9 Intake fans 1 rear exhaust is a no go? Hyte Y70
Hey party people, I’m planning a build in the Hyte Y70 and wondering if running 9 intake fans + 1 rear exhaust is a bad idea. The case is on order (shipping delays mean I won’t have it for ~2 months), so I want to lock in the right fans before it arrives.
My thought is that extreme positive pressure might help keep dust out, but I’m not sure how much it’ll impact thermals. I haven’t seen anyone test this exact setup:
3 side intake (AIO) - reverse blade
3 top intake - reverse blade
3 bottom intake - normal blade but using it backwards it doesn't matter
1 rear exhaust (140mm) - normal blade
Anyone tested this? and yes I know proper config would be the one already posted all over reddit, I'm just wondering how much thermals are impacted with this setup.
