I have my first 50K in two weeks and on my peak run tweaked my IT Band. Last time I did this 6 months ago right before 50K and ended up DNS.

Im thinking about doing banded clam shells, monster walk, glute bridges, and Bulgarian split squats every other day until race day with short easy walk/runs in between. Does this seem like a decent plan?

I'm thinking I could also do a run a mile and walk 2 miles the whole way and should put together around 8 hour time??? Might be pushing it but at this point I just want to at least walk it and complete it just to get over the hump of the first one.
