I've been replaying the Metro series since the last time I touched them, Exodus just came out. But replaying it now, I feel bad for what happened to the dark ones in Metro 2033. They were a threat to humanity not on purpose, but because they kept accidentally destroying peoples minds whenever they attempted to reach out, or felt threatened by humans, with their mere friendly presence. That and their expansion into the Metros activity makes them appear as a threat humanity cause of that. Best seen with your home station having most of its fighters minds tickled.
With them saying they wanted to live in peace, surely then it would be best if they figured out another form of communication & didn't try to actively keep pursuing the same method of communication, (brain tickles) and basically leaving people brain dead.
Please tell me I'm wrong though cause I'm sure I didn't feel like this when I was younger playing these games.
