Is it safe to pull out this melted filament

Is it safe to pull out this melted filament

I've had prints fail a lot lately which I thought was tangled filament in the spool but after my last try I noticed there was a bunch of melted filament at the end of the extruder but as I went to clean it I noticed it was a lot worse. I've been trying to pull out the gunk in the mechanism but then the rubber bit popped off and now I'm worried I'm breaking it. Not sure what's going on but I don't want to break it. Is this safe to do or should I be doing something else?

Looking to change NAS from Asustor to Synology and thinking of the Synology DiskStation DS225+

Hello. Earlier today my Asustor NAS died. I'm in the process of making it sure it isn't change the power cable that caused it but in the chance it isn't as simple I'm thinking of changing from Asustor to Synology (Asustor has given me issues here and there and whenever I look for a fix everyone just says get Synology) and I've had a little bit of a look. Right now I'm thinking of going for the Synology DiskStation DS225+. All I use it for is mainly TV shows and movies most of them at 1080P but some at 4K (which I play through Plex and Jellyfin) and sometimes music. I haven't put any photos or documents in it. Will this NAS be enough?
Thank you

NAS just suddenly died. Time to switch it up

I had an Asustor NAS for about a year (bought of Marketplace) but this afternoon it died. Is there a way to check that my harddrives are okay?
Also just wondering what people think is a good NAS brand? I didn't mind Asustor but it did give me some issues here and there so just thinking if I have to get a new one might as well check something else out.
Thank you

Hello everyone. I downloaded American Truck Simulator on the steam deck today after watching videos and reading about how well it plays. I get into the start screen but then when I go to load the game that I was playing on my PC the load bar goes back half way and then it crashes to my library. I tried changing it to proton experimental which I read may help but it still crashes. This is the biggest game I've tried to play on the deck but since other people got it working thought I'd give it a try but so far no luck. Thank you
