I just got a new bike for the first time in 7 years just a week ago, and am trying to figure out what these little notches in between the gear teeth are. It doesn’t ride weird that I’ve noticed, and there’s only about 4 on this 2nd gear, and an equal amount of smaller ones in 3rd
