So full disclosure. I’m 38 and should be finished with my Finance masters by August with a 4.0. My background is primarily in education as I was a teacher for 13 years but pivoted because my love for finance is what I truly wanted to do.
I’ve been actively applying to every and all internships and FP&A positions I possibly can. Unfortunately, I’ve been passed up for basically every internship or finance position.
Am I in a hopeless situation? I haven’t lost motivation as I am still completing applications almost everyday.
