What are the recommended mounting options for this NTFS partition?
I’m installing Linux Mint on a Dell Latitude E6400 (Core 2 Duo P8700, 4GB RAM) using MBR on Legacy BIOS.
Planned partition layout:
/ → ext4 (30GB)
swap → 4GB
NTFS → remaining space (data)
NTFS is for plug-and-play shared storage (Windows/Linux file transfer: docs, downloads, media).
