Hi all,

I have a new Checkpoint ALR 5 Gen 3 and ride a lot in the Alps on long gravel descents. I’m not fully happy with the SRAM brake performance on long downhill sections with luggage. Already changed the pads to Swisstop Disc 26 E.

The frame allows a 180mm front rotor, so I’m considering an upgrade.

Would this make a noticeable difference in braking power/heat control?

Options I’m looking at:

• SRAM Centerline X 180mm
• SwissStop Catalyst Pro 180mm
• Trickstuff Dächle Disc HD 180mm (with Centerlock adapter)

Any recommendations or experiences?
