I have no idea how hard either will be, but I know my advisor said it’s usually recommended students don’t take other challenging CS courses at the same time as the other course (Principles of Programming Languages)

I’ve thought Automata Theory seemed interesting for a while, and this will be my last opportunity to take it for my undergrad (only offered during the fall trimester and I’m entering my final year). I’ve heard the class is very difficult but also extremely fundamental to a lot of CS concepts

I did okay in DSA & Advanced Algorithms, but not amazing (solid B to B- range)
