For reference, I'm 5'1", 26 years old, female. My goal is to be 120lb or lower.
In February, my weight fluctuated between 145-150 lb. With dieting, cutting all junk food and artificial sweeteners entirely, plus adding light excersize, I've successfully gotten down to 133lb as of today, May 7th, which I think is pretty good progress? Other people are noticing that I look much less bloated, and I feel more energized. I've also graduated from 1lb weights to 5lb weights since I'm trying to fix my noodle arms and legs.
* In February, my max weight was 150 lbs, my average weight was 145lb, and my lowest was 141 lb.
* In March, my max weight was 143 lb, my average weight was 138lb, and my lowest was 131 lb.
* In April, my max weight was 139lb, my average weight was 134lb, and my lowest weight was 130lb.
* May, my maximum weight so far has been 134lb, my average weight this past week has been 133lb, and my lowest has been 132lb.
I can't seem to get the weight to budge any lower, despite sticking to my calorie deficit (400-500 kcal). I'm following the Samsung Health app, logging all of my calories, using measuring cups and scales, so I think I'm logging my calories as closely as I can? For some days, I also fast and skip lunch, so I don't meet my 1200kcal minimum.
I've also been adding excersize. At least 3 days out of the week, I try to walk 1 or 2 miles. I'm adding strength training for my arms and core 1-2 days every week. I'm also doing light aerobics at home, at least for 30 minutes to an hour, 4 days a week.
Every day, I weigh myself, and the weight really hasn't budged. It's a bit discouraging to see myself float around 132-134lb every morning. Should I be more aggressive with my dieting and excersize, or is this normal after several months into this routine? I'm not giving up, but it's disheartening to see my weight fluctuating around those same numbers.
