NICU nurses
I'm a current telemetry med surg RN with 2.5 years of experience. I originally became a nurse to do L&D but did my capstone there in school and never ended up loving it. I love babies though. I never had the opportunity to do clinical in the NICU but I'm curious about it now. So, NICU nurses, what does a typical day look like for you at a level 3/4. What do you like about it/what don't you? How did you know NICU was for you? And any of you who transitioned from adults to NICU, how was that experience? I'm not 100% sold, but I'm def ready for a new speciality and NICU is one of my considerations!! Please let me know!
