Zidoo Z9X 8K - Frame rate bug

I am running a new Zidoo Z9X 8K connected to a Sony Bravia 9. I have tweaked my settings (locked UI to 23.976Hz, disabled screensaver, Match Frame Rate/Res ON), which fixed almost all of my motion issues. Remuxes play flawlessly.
However, I am still hitting a very specific AFR (Auto Frame Rate) bug with streaming rips—specifically Netflix WEB-DLs and Amazon.
The Issue: The intros or recaps on Netflix rips seem to break the framerate lock. Sometimes If I just press play and let the episode run, it will start stuttering (telecine judder) right after the intro finishes and the main episode begins.
My Workaround: To fix it, I have to completely stop the file, restart the episode, and manually skip beyond the intro. Once I drop the player directly into the main body of the episode, the 24Hz lock engages properly and the motion is perfectly smooth for the rest of the show.
It seems like the Zidoo is failing to seamlessly switch frame rates when transitioning from a mixed-framerate intro/recap into the main 23.976Hz episode.
Is anyone else dealing with this specific Netflix intro bug on the new 8K firmware? Are there any hidden settings to help the Zidoo handle these transitions better without having to restart and skip?
