I plan on suing my landlord due to my fridge have been broken since i moved in October 3rd 2025. I am unable to change the settings on my fridge and there is no light. My food freezes in the back the of the fridge which i then have to dispose, I was also fired from my new job bc i would miss days bc they would say someone is coming on a certain day at a certain time and no one would come. I have been addressing the issue with them since the day i moved in. I sent a formal message to them, to let them know i plan to take further legal action if someone didn’t come in the next 5 days &’ gave my availability. She then tried to blame it on me bc i went on vacation for 2 days out of the 7 months &’ I wouldn’t allow them in my apartment without me being there… Is best to get a lawyer when I take this small claims court or should i just represent myself for this matter? And do y’all think i have a strong case?
