Mandatory Reconsideration help and timeline

Hi there

I in January made a PIP application as I have pretty severe psoarrhitic arthritis and POTS - I’m a 31 year old female in full time work who lives alone

Long story cut short

PA4 recommended 8 points for each from our phone assessment

DWP Assessor agrees with daily living but knocked mobility to 4, changing my “C” answer to an “A” - they said as I do strength training at the gym and work full time, I can walk 200m

Now I have explained I WFH 3/5 days, I use a personal trainer with strength and sat down training only as a form of physio as I was never offered anything and arthritis and POTS are very difficult to balance the needs for as it’s opposite (too much movement for POTS causes fainting, not enough for arthritis is stiffness and seizing up, and I need some sort of muscle to try and keep moving and keep going - I don’t do any cardio, just sat down weight exercises

They said get an aid but holding an aid as someone with POTS does not work it just puts more stress on and causes episodes. My ankle is double the size of the other and I cannot walk without sitting down, limping, sitting down again and am also appealing so I can strengthen my case for a blue badge. I have a car space 5m up from a lift in the office, I just go up and sit back down and have had plenty of reasonable adjustments

I have written back with all of this and had the following so far- I have called and confirmed they got my letter

Questions

1- has anyone had a case like this and what was the outcome

2- is the progress test usually a sign of a decision soon?
