How is the material difference of the Omni versus the Nova Pro?
considering buying this given the feature set.
ive had a Nova Pro for the past few years, but a year into it, the plastic that is connected to the hinge breaks (likely due to the circular metal piece underneath it).
and prior to that, i had an Arctis 9x but you all know the issues with that - the hinge.
just signals to me that build quality for the SS headsets have always been shoddy at best, but the feature set has always been one of the main reasons why i gravitate towards them.
and yes, i take great care not to ruin the headsets. but i do use headsets frequently, both for work and gaming.
my question for those who have the Omni is how does the build quality, specifically the plastic around the ear piece, compare to the Nova Pro?
do you anticipate the same issue as i described above?
the plastic cracking open where the hinge meets ear piece.
