I’ve owned this Ibanez guitar for 4 years now, I was playing fine recently and absolutely out of nowhere it just stopped working properly and produces only static sound. I replaced the output jack and soldered a different one, and then it didn’t even make any noise at all. I ended up putting the previous one back on. I have tried different cable cords and the result is the same. The screws and nut are fully tightened.

The weird thing is if I press the cable against my skin, it works fine, I’m not sure how to fix this. I know nothing about wiring. Any help would be nice.
