Hi everyone,

I’m currently testing the reMarkable Paper Pro and I’m really enjoying the ecosystem so far. One feature I use a lot is copying and pasting text (like AI-generated meeting summaries) via the Desktop App directly into my notebooks.

However, I’ve noticed a strange issue: When I use the Global Search on the device to look for a specific word that is part of that pasted/typed text, it doesn't show up in the results. It seems like the search only picks up my handwritten notes (OCR) but ignores the typed text blocks.

Is this a known limitation or am I doing something wrong? I would expect typed text to be even easier for the system to index than handwriting.
