Its been in this pot for two years so I want to repot it, but I dont actually know how to take care of this plant. Do I need to trim it? Is the yellow leaves because of lack of nutrients?

Got it as a tiny plant cutting from a friend. Also don't really know what kind of plant it is.

It is about 3 meters from a south facing floor to ceiling window.

It gets a weekly watering, few seconds stream from a small watering can. Soil dries up in between watering.
